Dana Heimen is a German tennis player, who plays in the American college championships for Flagler College.
Dana Heimen was born on October 1, 2003 in Ketsch, Germany. She started in tennis as a kid and showed great skills. As a Junior, she reached the semi-finals at the Hungarian Open U12, HITEC Bouneweg Junior Open, and Kirsch Open U14. Dana Heimen has been twice the runner-up in the German U14 and U16 doubles championships., but also won the U18 region championship in Rheinland-Pfalz and also captured the regional championship of Baden. Graduated from Privatgymnasium Mannheim and played club for TC Ludwigshafen Oppau, she helped her club team achieve vice-champion in the 2. Bundesliga in 2019, after being promoted from the Regionalliga.
In 2021, Dana Heimen moved to the United States to play tennis for Georgia Southern University, but in the next year, she moved to Flagler College, where played tennis for the Flagler Saints. In her first year in the school, she had a 9-3 record in singles, winning her first seven matches in a row, as well as 4-3 in doubles. However, she missed most of the season due to injury.
In 2023, Dana Heimen had a record of 27-4 in singles and 30-7 in doubles. She peaked at No 30 (ITA) in singles. She advanced to the ITA Southeast Region doubles final teamed with Luisa Hrda.
Dana Heimen had a 12-6 overall record in singles in the sophomore 2024 season. She finished with an overall doubles record of 21-8 with Nadja Meier and was ITA Southeast Regional runners-up in doubles.
At the ITF, she made her professional debut in 2021, playing at the $15,000 W15 Hilton Head, SC (USA0, but lost in the first round. After completing her college career, we will expect future tournaments, where Dana Heimen will show her skills and talent.
