Lucrezia Stefanini is an Italian tennis player, who has won seven singles titles on the ITF Circuit. She has career-high WTA ranking of No 105.
Lucrezia Stefanini was born on May 15, 1998. She started playing tennis at an early age and proved her talent. As a junior she is a runner-up at the 2013 Kvarner Junior Open, 2015 Swiss Junior Trophy, and 2015 J2 Plzen \ Ex Pilsen Babolat Cup, as well as the third round of the Junior French Open.
Lucrezia Stefanini made her professional debut in 2014, playing at the $10,000 Civitavecchia (Italy), losing in the first round. By the end of the season, she played at the $15,000 Santa Margherita Di Pula (Italy, where reached the second round.
In 2015 and 2016 she played at several ITF tournaments, gaining experience in professional matches. In July 2016, she reached her first final at the $15,000 W15 Schio (Italy), but lost to Valeriya Strakhova (Ukraine). She also played in the quarter-finals of the $15,000 Santa Margherita Di Pula (Italy).
In 2017, Lucrezia Stefanini won her first ITF title at the $15,000 Hammamet (Tunisia). During the season she reached the semi-finals of the $15,000 W15 Heraklion (Greece), $15,000 Porto (Portugal), and $25,000 W25 Trieste (Italy).
Lucrezia Stefanini continue gaining experience in 2018, playing her third ITF final at the $15,000 Hammamet (Tunisia). A season later, she won her second ITF title at the $15,000 W15 Monastir (Tunisia), but during the season also reached the semi-final of the $25,000 W25 Trieste (Italy).
Lucrezia Stefanini won two more titles in 2021, triumphing at the $25,000 W25 Salinas (Ecuador) and $25,000 W25 Radom (Poland). During the season she was the runner-up at the $15,000 W15 Monastir (Tunisia) and also played in the semi-finals of the prestigious tournament $60,000 W60 Biarritz (France) and $25,000 W25+H Calvi (France). She made her WTA debut in 2021, playing in the main scheme of the WTA 500 Abu Dhabi WTA Women’s Tennis Open, but during the season also played at the WTA 250 Tenerife Ladies Open and WTA 250 Palermo Ladies Open. Unfortunately, at all the tournaments, she lost in the first round.
Lucrezia Stefanini had her most successful season in 2022, winning three ITF titles – at the $25,000 W25 Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt), $60,000 W60 Collonge-Bellerive (Switzerland), and $60,000 W60+H Caldas da Rainha (Portugal). She also reached the semi-finals of the $25,000 W25 Foxhills (UK) and $60,000 W60 Charlottesville, VA (USA). At the WTA Tour, she reached the second round of the WTA 250 Copa Colsanitas and WTA 250 Jasmin Open Monastir.
In 2023, Lucrezia Stefanini started the season with a debut at the Grand Slam, reaching the second round of the Australian Open. In April, she won the titles at the $25,000 W25 Sharm El Sheikh (Egypt) and $40,000 W40+H CALVI (France). In May she played in the main scheme of the WTA 1000 Rome Open, but lost in the first round.
